After analyzing my visitor’s broswer plugins as reported by Piwik, I realized that only 42% of my visitors had Adobe Flash and/or Adobe Reader installed. According to Adobe, 99% of internet enabled PC broswers are using Adobe Flash. Though my statistical sample is no where close to that of Adobe’s, I tend to believe that Piwik is not able to report all instances of Adobe plugins on my visitors’ browsers.
Is it posible that Piwik’s reporting does not show the true plugin setup of more than half of my visitors? Is there a way to increase the accuracy of the browser component report? Or, do some visitors simply have certain privacy settings which preclude the detection of plugins?
