Error after updating to PHP 5.4

I am using HostGator reseller server and I got a notice on my Piwik settings page that I was running PHP 4.xxx and that it needed to be updated to 5.3 at the minimum or PHP 5.4 for optimum. I had Hostgator update it to 5.4 and everything is working I think, but I get this notice in the SEO Rankings Box:

curl_exec: couldn’t connect to host

* Piwik Documentation
* Piwik Forums
* Piwik Online Demo

What do I need to do to fix this?

Thanks,

Mike

Wow! I just posted about this same thing. I’m on 5.3 (PHP) Godaddy Deluxe Shared Hosting. It just literally happened in the last 2 days. Anyone have any idea about what happened? SEO Rankings Widget was working fine until a few days ago. Godaddy tells me nothing changed. THey went into my php.ini (I think) and said the maxed out the memory limit.

Hi guys…
Got the same error here… As I was told, nothing was changed… about two days ago, I came across to this error :
