This is one thing I have always missed in Piwik. According to the documentation I should track orders after the payment. I do this, but there are two major problems with this:
- Some customers do not return to my website after the payment
- According to Piwik the top referrer of paid orders is… my payment provider. Lots of online banking websites are also in the referrer list.
In the ideal situation Piwik tracks all orders, and offers a way to set some sort of “paid” flag afterwards using the order ID.
