Does PIWIK track "relatime" visitor statistics?

I just want to be clear on this because i don’t see this in the demo.
Does piwik track “realtime”?
I mean “realtime”, like immediately a visitor visits the website and immediately the visitor leaves the website…just like www.woopra.com does.

So again does piwik does this?

Have a look at the widget “Visitors in Real Time” on the Dashboard of the Piwik Demo. This always displays your visitors in real time. Apart from that piwik updates it’s statistics either when you open the webinterface or (preferable for high traffic websites) by a cron job.
