Distinguish Chrome from Chromium

Hi! I’ve noticed that users that use chromium (some custom build) are tracked as they are using Chrome. Is it by design or is it a bug?
For me it would be useful if I can see Chromium and Chrome separately, was wondering if it’s possible and if anybody alse needs it.

When using Chromium from the debian package repo, I have the following user agent

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/76.0.3809.100 Safari/537.36

I doubt there is a way to distinguish it from the google chrome build.

Noticed that sometimes chromium is detected in matomo. So I guess some builds use word chromium in UA and some don’t. And there is nothing to do on your side, that’s right.
