Hi,

Just realized today, when the Winter Time change occur,that Piwik doesn’t have Daylight Saving feature.
If I change the time zone in Piwik, it will change all visitors times before 28 OCT as well, not just after dawn of 28 OCT.
Please add the DST feature.

Piwik works with timezones so should automatically work when timezone change…

Thanks for message.
I have v1.9, and the Wintertime from today didn’t changed automatically.
I had to change it manual within Piwik.
So it’s not working for me…

Same problem here using Piwik 1.9.1: visitor´s time is shown +1 compared to the correct time.

Same for me. Piwik never adapted TimeZone when changing to Winter/Summer time.

I have to edit it manually for each website twice a year.

An option to enable/disable Daylight saving time would be nice.

Which timezone did you choose and from what to what do you change it? Piwik should change time if you use the Cities timezones ?

Timezone was set to UTC+2 (now was set to UTC+1) as this is the default when I create a new site in Piwik. Changed it to “Europe/Berlin”.
In php.ini the timezone settings was already set to “Europe/Berlin”.

How can I change the default value in Piwik?

Actually I used UTC+2 and changed to UTC+1

I feel stupid :slight_smile: i had never seen there was also the list of cities in the dropdown menu !!

Now I changed to Europe/Zurich.

I will then see in 6 months if it changes the time correctly.

Same here, Brussels (belgium) timezone, change to UTC+1
