Custom IP mapping list for Geolocation

Hi,
We’ve got an internal-only web site for which we want to track statistics. We are using Piwik already, but obviously with internal, non-routable IP ranges, the Geolocation information is always wrong. What would be the best way to use a custom list/database of IP’s mapped to names?

Thanks for any help, guidance, or pointers!

Good news: GeoIP is now integrated in Piwik, enabling Accurate Visitors Geolocation in your Analytics reports. To enable GeoIP go to the Settings > Geolocation admin page, and follow the short instructions.

You can also get an even more accurate Country & City Database from here to enjoy top accuracy in detecting your visitors locations.

See also the documentation about Geolocation - Analytics Reports in Piwik.

And for private IP addresses, try the Campus Geo IP plugin module.

If we proceed with the installation and activation of the CampusGeoIP plugin in Matomo, then then “DBIP / GeoIP 2 (Php)” that we have setup will need to be de-selected, right? How can we have both plugins activated and used together for visitor location determination in Matomo as one location provider is allowed to be chosen/selected and saved?

Thank you
