Custom domain with CNAME

Hello. I’m trying out Matomo for the first time. For our secure website x.com (for instance), we’d like to set up a subdomain like stats.x.com and CNAME it to x.matomo.cloud (which is the URL we have been given).

This way, in our JS include, we will be include stats.x.com.

Is there a way to do this? How can we use Lets Encrypt or something to generate the right certificate for the stats.x.com which points to x.matomo.cloud? And then where do we put this setting inside the Matomo UI? Couldn’t find anything self-evident.
