Hello,
we are considering Matomo for getting solid numbers on our visits even without the need to get the user’s consent. We understand that it’s only possible with the cookieless approach and full data anonymization. But does Matomo still gather information (even if it’s not personal information) about the users device / connection or stores data in any other form on the users device? I couldn’t find anything about this specific type of data handing in the documentation. Help is very much appreciated
