Hi there, as an agency we have access to multiple Matomo Accounts with different Logins. In Lookerstudio, the Username and Token are only shown once. Once this is set up, I could not find a way to change this data to get data from other accounts. Is there a solution for this problem?
The only current workaround is:
- Add another Google Account to the Looker Studio dashboard. Create one or use one of a client’s
- Authenticate the Matomo Connector under that Google Account
- Add as many Data Sources as needed
- Manage / Edit the Data Sources as usual with your agency Google Account
It’s a big bummer, until the dev team doesn’t add the capability of inserting more than one Endopint / Token pair in the Connector admin interface.
Is the method listed above still the only way to accomplish viewing multiple websites?
One workaround I found was the following
- Create Google Looker API Matomo account with token
- Give that user View permission for 1 website
- Attach website to Looker and load page
Downside is you have to change access for the user and switch websites if you want to see the data.
So if I have 50 websites then I need to link each one to a different Google account?
Why can’t it use the matomo url and login name/token per website?
Looks like that’s still the case.
Here’s hoping someone will address the issue, possibly sooner than later ![]()
Same issue here.
Does not make sense that you can not have more then one on premise server.
As far as I can see, the problem still exists… Right?
Hi, is there now a solution for this issue or is it mandatory to use another specific google account for accessing another matomo website id ? thanks
