Confusion about WooCommerce tracking - free vs paid

I am confused, the free plugin in the WP repo states this:

However the Matomo website clearly states this as a paid premium feature.

What am I not getting?
So the WP side will send the data with the plugin but for the Matomo side to receive you need the paid plugin?

Sorry, about that one, the Matomo WordPress plugin seems to be a standalone install within WP of Matomo, so offering different features I guess.
