Compability Issues with Google Analytics Experiments

Hi guys,

I have a GOOGLE EXPERIMENT set up basically rotating between 2 landing pages for my google adwords.
Background: Within GoogleExperiment you basically insert an javascript in the top of the original-page and this script forwards every 2d visitor to the alternative-page. 50/50 Split Testing.

Piwik IS NOT compatible with this. In the log it looses the reference for the url - if the “google experiment javascript” forwards to the alternative experiment URL.

In this case the visitor log has the following errors:

  1. It shows that it is a “direct link” BUT in reality it comes from a campaign
  2. It says “Page URL not defined” and looses the URL (a quick fix might be to just keep the original experiment URL)
  3. It looses the Piwik Campaign URL and Keywords (which I pass over in the url)

This is really bad - I would really appreciate a fix for this.
