I purchased and install the Search Keywords plugin and completed the Google Search console setup, however when I grant Matomo access to Search Console via the Oath consent page it redirects to a URL that creates a 404 error. I think that is because the redirect url it calls must include “/matomo/index.php” but in reality it redirects to the url without any ïndex.php”- https://xxx.com/matomo/?module=SearchEngineKeywordsPerformance&action=processAuthCode&state=xxxx
I wonder if this is the wordpress native url rewrite in htaccess stripping the index.php out of the url?>…the plugin will never finish the oath process this way. The screen shows that the client config is imported, but the final step doesn’t work
Also, I am getting security errors with literally everything I do with Matomo…it has been a nightmare to configure anything:
