Cannot see restored db logs

im on a shared hosting server with phpmyadmin:

after problems with 3.5 and geoip2, i had to restore the db but when i did so after no apparent errors the previous historical logs can’t be seen

how can i troubleshoot this more without full server access ?

id like to roll back piwik version to 3.4 is possible too - where can prior versions be downloaded?

observed behaviour with this shows that even though i can’t see historical log data, i can see the number of visits from historical return visitors by hovering over the return visitor icon…

?
