Cannot find the tracking code

Very frustrated - I must have missed the tracking code when I set up PIWIK.
I have spent 30 minutes looking everywhere, googling. NO JOY.
Please can somebody tell me where this code is. There is an information page, but it’s wrong


Log in to Piwik with your admin or Super User account
    Click on Settings to access the administration area
    Click on Websites to list the websites that you are tracking in Piwik
    [b][u]Click on View Tracking code for the website you wish to track[/u][/b]
    You can now copy and paste the JavaScript Tracking code into your pages, just before the </body> tag.

There is no “View Tracking Code” on the Settings Page that I can see…

The instructions you quote haven’t kept up with the many rapid changes made recently in Piwik.

Try this:

  1. Log in with your superuser credentials or with credentials that have Admin rights.
  2. Click on the down arrow to the right of your userid at the top of the page.
  3. In the popup menu, click on “Settings”
  4. In the menu at the left of the page, under the “Manage” heading, click on “Tracking Code”

If your Piwik installation tracks several web sites, you can select the web site whose tracking code you wish to see.
