Hi there, this is my first post.
I’ve been using piwik for quite some time, never had problems.
Now, it’s been a few days since I can’t access not even the login page on both of the installations of piwik I have.
In one case I get the message SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user ‘myuser’@‘127.0.0.1’ (using password: YES)
in the other I got Access denied for user ‘myuser’@‘127.0.0.1’ (using password: YES).
I’ve already tried to create a brand new user and assigning it to the db, but still no breakthrough.
I wanna point out I did nothing in the last few days on piwik,I hadn’t even logged in for some time.
Has anyone had the same issue?

Could you check if everything’s fine with your database? Can you log in there directly?

Well I solved this way: the database was up and running, so no problem with the db.
I had to edit the piwik file /config/config.ini.php and change “127.0.0.1”, which by the way had always worked till then, with the IP number of the database. I guess that’s been an issue due to to the hosting rather than piwik itself.
