Can One Use the ma_ Prefix Without a Subscription to the Media Analytics API?

Alright this should be an easy question. Does one have to pay for a subscription to the Media Analytics API in order to use the ma_ prefixed tracking parameters? Or, can one improvise on one’s own with the same?

I do not have USD 149 dollars to purchase an annual subscription.

No, this will not work as you need the entire plugin for the feature to work.
