I have succesfully installed Piwik and it is working since two weeks. Now I’d like to use the campaign feature and have integrated some links with the following pattern:
When clicking on the link or letting other users click on the link I’m not getting any data in the campaign widget. I can see that the links including the pattern got tracked but the campaign part shows up with no data.
I haven’t changed the config so the “piwik_campaign” should be just fine. I als read the FAQs and can’t find a problem with my setup.
Thank you for your help. I have already read these instructions and none of these are valid for me. The tracking code is implemented correctly and although 20 users accessed the correct campaign URL (I can see that in the Piwik dashboard) these clicks do not show up in the campaign system (widget etc.).
Your example URL shows you’re trying to track “JPG” images. Piwik will not be executed when requesting an image, as the page would not contain the javascript tracker. Campaign tracking will work when the page requested with ?piwik_campaign= contains the JS tracker.
