Hi guys,
I’d like to add cache control to the matomo.js file to enable browser caching.
I’ve installed Matomo on-premises, using an Apache web server.
I believe I need to modify the .htaccess file in /var/www/matomo/config, but the first few lines advise against changing it since it’s autogenerated.

Can I safely ignore this warning?
