Assigning imported data from the past to corresponding visits

Hey!

I was wondering if its possible to somehow tell piwik to assign imported tracking data (ecommerce sales or custom goals) to their corresponding visits (as the tracked import data has a specified timestamp which falls into a certain visits timespan.

I tried to test this but piwik seems to randomly do it right and spamming new visits without any reason.

Any advice is much appreciated!
