We are using piwik to track visitors on a web application with closed userbase. So the unique visitor statistic doesn’t do much sense if it’s not possible to set an expire date for the cookie.
By now we have a significant gap between users logging in to the application and the unique visitors and I assume this is related to the long living cookie. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
It would be very nice to be able to configure the cookie to expire at f.e. 00:00.
