is there anyway i can record every action taken by a user on the site? like all the pages a user visited?
Hi milind,
thanks for asking. If you put JS code/Image in every of your page,
you should be able to view all actions by users.
I recommend you to paste the code in the footer to speed up loding performance of your website.
Feel free to ask any further question style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

Hi Mariusz,
Just a few questions about your answer.
With JS code you mean properly the code generated by Piwik. Right? And what means code/image?
And which code we should paste in the footer? Not all my pages have a footer…
I hope the questions are not too stupid.

Thomas
Hi nosy
Just passing by …
- Yes he certainly means the code generated by Piwik.
- With “footer” he probably means: At the bottom of the page just before the . That’s a recommendation you find in the Piwik documentation. The reason is: First display the whole page, then count it. So the user does not have to wait unnecessarily, and so that only complete page impressions get counted.
Cheers,
