Hello, I am trying to better understand PIWIK. If someone installs and uses PIWIK on their own infrastructure, does that user or organization have access to the raw data? I see you have info on logs and aggregated logs. Does a user only have the option to get automatically aggregated raw data or does a user have the option to only get access to raw data. An rough example of what I mean by raw data would be “Username (if provided), URL, Visit, Timestamp”. Please let me know ASAP. Thank you!
When you use PIwik you have access to both RAW and Processed data.
but is the raw data deleted after a while? I wasn’t sure if the raw data is deleted after a while and once aggregated.
by default it’s not deleted. but you can enable it: Managing your database’s size - Analytics Platform - Matomo
