About "visitCount"

Hello,

I’m learning Piwik. I saw a API reference but I could not find about this.

I used an API “Live.getLastVisitsDetails” and got response data.
And I found a field “visitCount” in response data. (XPath: “/result/row/visitCount” )
What is this field? When is this field increased?
