AB Test with goal of Event Value

Is there any way to do an AB Test with a goal of maximum Event Value?

I have a carefully tuned system of events with values based on value the visitor brings, and that’s what I want to optimize on.

I don’t think it’s possible to setup an AB test using a event value. The only metrics that can be used for an AB test is conversions or revenue (Conversions for goals, revenue for either goals or ecommerce orders)
