A lot of DIRECT ENTRY -What does it mean?

I see a lot of visitors in my sites showing as direct entry.
To many different sites, it’s going like this for about a month or even more.

It’s from different IP’S, browsers and etc.
Can you tell what it might be?

It is probably Organic Search referrals coming from iOS 6 and even some Android users running the latest version of their OS.

Unfortunately, the HTTP headers are not sent from the latest version of Safari and Chrome (only on Mobile), so it will be recorded as direct traffic because the referrer can’t be identified. This happens on all analytics platforms, not just Piwik.
