404-page in cms without showing a 404-page in url

I’ve tried and follows install the “How to track error pages (404 pages) in Piwik?”-solution.
This doesn’t work with my CMS, because my error-page doesnt show at url. It does not create a path how “excample.org/404.html”, its only show the wrong url and the browsertitle switched to this: “404 error - Sitename” (and the content is from my error-default in the backend from my cms).

How I can get track this error-site without url?

You don’t need a special URL, what you need is to be able to insert into the page, WHEN it is 404, the code in the FAQ: How to - Analytics Platform - Matomo

I have do it how the FAQ sell, but get not a count, but now I tried again and finally its working! :slight_smile:
