I just installed 0.2.37 and the dashboard wasn’t working. I could figure out that the piwik_log_visit.location_provider table/field was missing. After manually creating it the visits are logged, but the dashboard shows still ‘no data’.
That column should automatically be added when the Provider plugin is activated (during Installation).
You might want to check your error logs to see if anything else failed during the install. You should check that your piwik database user has ALTER privilege.
