When Using Force SAML Login, users can no longer update personal settings

We are using the SAML Login plugin and everything is working correctly as far as logging in goes. However, I noticed that once logged in as a SAML user, I can no longer save any personal settings because it thinks I’m updating the password and gives this error message “Only Super Users can change password/email when Force SAML is enabled.”

This is Matomo 3.9.1.

Any ideas how to fix this?
