I have the most basic 3 websites and maybe a month of data and I’m already out of memory? Any suggestions for troubleshooting? Are there certain changes I can make to keep my memory usage more modest?
I should add that on all 3 sites I am getting <5 unique visitors/day.
Your memory limit (8M) is very small, usually host configure with a default of 128M or 256M
I was told by my host these limits are with their “5 C Class IP” hosting package and they recommended switching to a VPS or dedicated server hosting package which has no such limits. They said the limits are described here:

I guess the 5C hosting is just better for cleaning up “footprints” on sites you don’t want linked together which also improves the SEO if you are linking the sites…
