When in maintenance mode, links on maintenance page don't work

Had a look in the bug tracker and can’t see it mentioned, also can’t recover my account because it needs username and email, and I can’t remember my username…

Anyway, when in mainteance mode the external pages linked are all in the form:

?module=Proxy&action=redirect&url=http://piwik.org

Which doesn’t work because the site is in maintenance mode…

Hi there.

What are you using for mainteance mode? Are you using .htaccess or a plugin for a CMS?

Also if you are using .htaccess please share the code you are using!
