What browsers are supported for link tracking?

Hello,

I am looking into using Piwik. I know it can track clicks on links, but was wondering what browsers the link tracking is supported on?

and how are the links reported on? destination, url, id?

Any browser with JavaScript 1.5 enabled should work – eg Internet Explorer 5.5 and above.
