Visiting time timeout?

I would like to use piwik for all our international websites all over the world.
At the moment we are in the testing phase. Today I have presented piwik to my colleagues and they give my some questions. I found no answers at the piwik.org page. Maybe you can help me.

– If a user has a page open for 3 hours because he is a meeting. What time is then counted as visiting time? Is there a timeout?

One page view = 10s

One page view then click on another page = exact time spent on this page (IF less than 30 minutes, otherwise it creates a new visit)
