I thought I would share with you how Matomo’s trackSiteSearch() method can be used to build a word cloud from a local (as opposed to a site-wide) search engine. If interested, go to the Grammar Captive mainpage and click on the menu option Word Clouds under the heading Visitor Profile in the navigation bar. In the same navigation bar are the custom-built search engines used to generated the word clouds.
Depending on the timing a new search can take up to 24-hours before it is processed. On rare occasions it is even instantaneous.
