Using "compare to" for email reporting

Hey folks.

Often I use the “compare to” function in Matomo Dashboard.
Now I tried to use this for email reporting to but seems not to work. I only get data for checked time period, not for the compared period.

Any ideas?

Hey.

If a report ist created and you are watching the report list there is a data field. In this there is a option to compare.

This part of the menu (date comparison) has no effect on the reports. It seems to be an UI error…

Basically this would be the same as the comparison feature in the Date Selector …and Segment selector. It could be quite useful to a lot of people if this was available in the email reports so that they can easily see the comparison between different segments or to see the comparison of the report data from the current period to the previous period (I.e. week on week or month on month). Currently the date selector does allow you to select "Compare with period" but this doesn't seem to actually show in the reports generated if you send or download a report in the UI with this option selected.
