Unable to view Generation time in Visitor log

Hi,
In piwik 1.12, the generation time is seen for some visits and for few visits its not seen.Is it because of the browser with which we are accessing the application that is being tracked?The generation time is not seen for visits in IE for us.Can someone help out?

Generation time only works in modern browsers, maybe your IE version is not supporting it yet. (IE9 + required)
