Hi everyone, I am new to Matomo, and this forum, so please forgive me if the topic has already been covered. I’m trying to figure out the best way to track visitors across subdomains without using cookies (setCookieDomain). If I install the same Matomo tracking code on all my subdomains, will a user visiting subdomain1.example.com then, within the same browser session, go to subdomain2.example.com be considered the same visitor in Matomo?

If the tracked visitor has an userID (defined by your app, and the same on both domains),then Matomo can consider it is the same visit…
If not… You’ll have to test
