Tracking User Emails Sent Using My App

Hi,

I am new to piwik and not yet switched over from Flurry but I am wondering if piwik is capable of the following:

I have an app that is not available through an app store and is available only via invite only download link where each user is given a unique set of log in credentials ahead of time.

Inside the app, it is possible for the user to look at several PDFs and decide to EMAIL these documents, which brings up the iOS mail email draft with a pre-made email message, attaching the documents for them. From there, the user can decide who to send it to and edit the message as they see fit.

I was wondering if it was possible if we could track when/where this email was sent (since ultimately it is using iOS pre-configured mail) and if I could get a copy of the email as well? Does that make sense?

I think it would be possible using the Custom Events Tracking feature: http://piwik.org/docs/event-tracking/

It seems that the iOS SDK also offers this feature: https://github.com/piwik/piwik-sdk-ios#api
