Getting a 403 error in the web server log. Also if I try the url manually I get the following error.
You don’t have permission to access /piwik/piwik.php on this server.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I am running the lastest version of Piwik.
Thanks

you might want to ask your host, they might have disabled piwik.

I can logon to Piwik just fine.
It’s just when the script is trying to add the visitor information.

Check your .htaccess and file permissions on piwik.php.

It turned out to be the hostgator mod_security rules. Working great now.
Thanks

bamtel,
What did you do to fix the hostgator mod_security rules?

re: HostGator. Open a ticket on tickets.hostgator.com, and submit a request to whitelist your domains for the new mod_security rules.

As Vipsoft said just open a ticket. They had mine fixed within 5 minutes.
In the ticket I just told them what error I was getting and that a mod_security rule was blocking the request.
