Tracking of long Visits

I’m using Matomo on a site with rather long visit durations (~90 Minutes) and i wonder how Matomo reports these visits when they start before and end after midnight server time.

Which of the following is true?

  1. The visit is only being reported for the day on which the visit started.
  2. The visit is only being reported for the day on which the visit ended.
  3. The visit is somehow being reported for both days (with splitted duration?).

Is there any action within 90 minutes? Indeed, by default, if no action occurs within 30 minute, the following action is counted in a new visit.

By default, 2 visits will be created (one for each day).

Both behaviors can be changed:
