Track only single links(not the whole site)

Hello,

I would like to track only predefined links in PIWIK and not the whole site links.
In my case I would like to insert PIWIK in the Wordpress Backend and track only 1 (one) link placed on the dashboard. Any other interactions and actions should not be counted. Only this one dashboard link.
Any suggestions, how to implement that?

Then force to track only one particular link: JavaScript Tracking Client: API Reference - Matomo Analytics (formerly Piwik Analytics) - Developer Docs - v3
