I designed a wireframe for an optimal email report for only the data I want to receive that roughly resembles what was done with Google Analytics for this Brief Metrics product: https://briefmetrics.com/
I am now about to just code it all out using API queries and creating the actual HTML unless someone can tell me someone has already created something BEYOND the custom email reports within Matomo.
I realize you can customize these reports and simplify them but if you really want to just sent something with a specific design and data layout it still seems like you have to get your hands dirty, make some API calls and wrangle the resultant data.
If I’m wrong or you have any other leads or ideas before I step forth on this adventure I’m all ears!!
