I am running an otherwise well performing VPS, with 2GB ram, 4 CPU cores, more than I need at the moment basically.
When I start Piwik which sorts by day, it takes more than 30seconds for the widgets like “visit over time”, “referred websites”, “keywords”, etc. to load. Showing the “Loading widget, please wait…” text.
Only the “visitors in real-time” widget is loading immediately.
Since the performance is much much better on another website run on a sh**ty shared hosting plan. I was wondering, could there be an issue with either Piwik settings or the VPS? Or can this be an indication of a certain quality of the VPS?
Any suggestion would be most welcome. Thank you.
