Still keeps counting me!

I went to settings and downloaded the cookie so that Piwik would stop counting me, but it still keeps counting me as a returning user. And I’ve got lots of different IP addresses.

Yes, I use a VPN to certain SEO work that I do, but I make sure that it’s turned off and it still keeps saying that I’m a returning visitor, although it’s got a different IP from the previous ones.

how do I stop Piwik from counting me as a visitor.

I’m from the UK, but I live in Cambodia, and Piwik registers my IP as in the US?!

It’s not a big problem, I can still use my stats but it’s a bit annoying.

The exclusion cookie is tied to your piwik domain. For this to work, you have to match this up with the domain used in the tracking code.

for ip-to-country, install the geoip plugin. (See faq)
