I have a self hosted Piwik installation with javascript tracking code that I have been running simultaneously alongside GA tracking code. When comparing hits, visits, and other stats between the two services, Piwik has a noticeably lower count in almost every category. Can somebody help me understand why that would be?
The code is installed on https://viewing.nyc
GA tracking is called first on the page, not that it should matter. though because they are both async.
