We are considering Piwik to collect usage data for desktop CAD application with ~10K sessions per day and lots events per session. Current estimate is ~5M events per day.
Based on this forum (please correct me if I am wrong )
- 5M actions results in about 1Gb in database size
- Piwik reporting works fine up to 20-80Gb database.
So we can have detailed usage statistics for ~2 months
Typical solution for longer period to create secondary database with pre-processed data (example - user language and geography, system parameters, list of features used and session duration ) and use it for general reports.
Is there any similar experience with Piwik?
