Save via webinterface removes config-entries in config/config.ini.php

Hello,

when the config/config.ini.php contains following lines and a save-process is started via webinterface, the lines are removed.


[Tracker]
record_statistics = 1

[General]
maintenance_mode = 0

I don’t unterstand the advantage of this behaviour.

Before an update I adjust these lines via some Linux bash-commands (sed) to activate the maintenance-mpde. So, my commands expect that these lines are in the config.

Hi there,

yes it’s a behavior in Piwik and unfortunately we can’t change it.

one technique is to prepend eg. disabled_ in front of the INI setting name, then it won’t be removed
