SAML Authentication succeeded but no login following

Matomo 3.8.1

Our SAML Authentication is working:
This means: i got a success message from the IdP back:

<samlp:Status> <samlp:StatusCode Value=“urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:status:Success” /></samlp:Status>

And if i activate the “Just-in-time provisioning” the user is created successfully in Matomo. The “Initial Websites With View Access For New Users” is set correctly.
However: after the successful authentication a login into Matomo is not following. The user only see the login mask again.

If the user then login with his Username and PW normally, he can login and see the website data.
