I am currently in the process of migrating my piwik server to a new server.
Server A is the new server, and server B is old server. Once I am happy that the data can be migrated correctly server A will become the live server and server B will be shutdown.
I have imported the database from B onto A which worked as expected.
A few days later I decided to replay a day’s worth of access logs from B onto A to check if replaying tracking requests works correctly since there will be a period of time between the server switch so there will be hour or so worth of logs to import into server A.
After inspecting the data from that day on both servers I noticed that it wasn’t identical. Server A looks as though it has more tracking requests recorded.
Is this a potential bug or has the current server (B) missed some requests?
