Hello Everyone,

I just got this email talking about how piwik stops referrer spam, but I’m now updated to Piwik 2.13.1 and I looked at my referrer list and see that I have 14 visits from buttons-for-your-website.com. The emails says that I don’t have to do anything to remove these people. What’s up with them showing in my stats?

Hi there,

it only excludes visitors from the moment that Piwik is upgraded and then starts excluding spammers. Good reason to keep Piwik up to date :slight_smile:
